Symphony is a novel consisting of about 30 untitled sections. The premise of the book was that I would let it take me wherever it seemed to want to go, that my voice would be just one of the many voices present, and that inanimate as well as animate objects could speak. There was usually an aesthetic logic for why one section followed another. Here are a couple of back-to-back sections from different parts of the book, the second following the first, the fourth following the third. For this site, I have supplied titles.
